Gastroenterology Physician, Open Rank, Assistant/Associate/Professor - 39409 Faculty

As an important member of the University of Colorado GI faculty, the Gastroenterologist will have clinical responsibilities including outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital consultations, endoscopic procedures, and nights/weekends call coverage.The gastroenterologist's primary practice site will be the University of Colorado Hospital, Anschutz Medical Campus, where they will provide outpatient and inpatient GI consultative and endoscopic services. This position is 5 days per week, allocated as 3 half-days of clinic, 5 half-days of endoscopy, and 2 half-days of clinical administrative time weekly. Additionally, they will provide nights/weekends call coverage at the University of Colorado Hospital and affiliate hospitals (Denver Veterans Affairs Hospital, Denver Health Medical Center) in equitable rotation with other members of the group.The successful applicant for this position will be someone who communicates appropriately and effectively with patients, staff, consultants, and colleagues, has outstanding customer service skills, and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.:Evaluation and management of GI disorders within the scope of a general gastroenterologist including:
