Job Title: Medical Receptionist
Supervisor: Office Manager
Job Summary:

Naples Orthopedics is looking for an experienced medical front desk person. Experience with Health Insurance is a must.
The medical receptionist will be responsible for greeting patients and visitors, scheduling patient appointments, calling patients to remind them of appointments, collecting patient co-pays, answering and routing calls, making transactions, and keeping paperwork organized.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Greeting patients, family and visitors
  • Answering telephone calls and direct calls to appropriate staff
  • Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
  • Receive insurance co-pay payments and post amounts paid to patient accounts
  • Obtain referral and Authorizations
  • Interview patients to complete insurance and privacy forms
  • Compile and record medical charts, reports, and correspondence
  • Scan documents into electronic health records
  • Maintain work area in a safe, clean and orderly fashion
  • Other duties designated by the supervisor
