Registered Nurse - Med Surg (Travel) in Gold Beach, Oregon. This 13-week travel assignment starts on 09/08/2026 and offers a weekly pay range of $2,259 to $2,419. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to medical-surgical patients, including monitoring, assessment, and timely escalation of changes in condition.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders and facility policy.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust individualized care plans; participate in daily rounds and discharge planning.
- Document accurately and promptly in the Epic EMR; ensure compliance with charting standards and patient privacy.
- Support geriatric patients with age-appropriate care, safety, mobility, and education to promote recovery and prevent complications.
- Provide patient and family education, coordinate referrals, and ensure a smooth transition from hospital to home or other care settings.
Requirements
- Active Oregon RN license
- BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Acute Care/Med-Surg experience; current travel experience preferred
- Proficient with Epic EMR
- Ortho experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital-level setting and contribute to a team-focused Med/Surg environment
