At least 1 year Experience in Correctional desired but not required or at least 3 years of NP experience in a non-correctional environment

NURSE PRACTITIONER POSITION SUMMARY
The Nurse Practitioner utilizes the medical model to meet a variety of healthcare needs with ambulatory care as their primary focus. The NP/PA works with a variety of healthcare professionals/security officers in a correctional environment to provide basic medical services supervised by a licensed Physician. The NP/PA has no managerial responsibilities.


NURSE PRACTITIONER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduate of an accredited college/university NP or PA program
