Job description

Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center (PVHMC) Rehabilitation Services is seeking a full-time Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our large multi-disciplinary team of pediatric PTs, SLPs, OTs and Assistants. Our two freestanding, state-of-the-art pediatric clinics are located in Claremont and Chino Hills CA. Known as the Milestones Center for Child Development, these practices serve children from birth to adolescence. Our Associates enjoy a positive, collaborative work environment, competitive salaries and an excellent benefit package. For those seeking a variety of clinical settings, opportunities exist in our NICU, Acute Inpatient, and 4 Adult Outpatient clinics.
Required: California State License. Preferences: Bilingual; Prior clinical training and experience in a medical model: Evidence of ongoing continuing education in Pediatrics. New graduates with clinical affiliation experience in a medical model, and experienced clinicians seeking Part Time may be considered.
Essential functions include:
  • Provide accurate diagnosis, referrals, and follow-up treatment for all patients
  • Determine appropriate assessment and/or intervention objectives
  • Plan and implement appropriate treatment plan for patients, including family education and home-based interventions
  • Complete all documentation within the time frames specified.
  • Follows medical model and appropriate discharge planning according to PVHMC and APTA guidelines

PVHMC is a nationally recognized, and award winning, non-profit, acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center. Rehabilitation Services at PVHMC were established in 1954. We have 75 licensed therapists and over 110 Associates. Rehabilitation includes 5 Services: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Pathology, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. The PVHMC campus is home for our 11,000 sq. ft. main outpatient clinic, with 5 other outpatient clinics in neighboring cities.

Salary range: $47.75 - $67.19 . Salary will be commensurate with experience.
