Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• 10+ years of SAP project management experience; at least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, data migration, integration technologies, and Activate methodology.
• Solid experience with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Lead full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations, conversions (Brownfield/Greenfield), or upgrades.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Drive project governance, including status reviews, steering committee meetings, and progress reporting.
• Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology and organizational PMO standards.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture & system landscape
• Knowledge of SAP HANA database concepts (in-memory storage, CDS views, Fiori enablement)
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori UX, role-based access & Fiori app libraries
• Understanding of master data governance (MDG), data models, and data migration rules
• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA functional modules (at least overview of FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, PM)
• Ability to oversee integration testing, system configuration validation & blueprint design
• Awareness of S/4HANA simplification items and impact on business processes
Roles & Responsibilities
• Understand business requirements and then convert business requirement into Functional Specifications
• Establish and run project governance: Steering Committee, PMO cadence, RAID management, change control board (CCB).
• Define delivery methodology (SAP Activate/hybrid Agile), milestones, and stage gates.
• Set up KPIs (timeline variance, cost variance, defect leakage, test pass rate, cutover readiness, data conversion accuracy).
• Ensure compliance with audit, SoX, GxP, data privacy, and security policies.
• Oversee cross-module integration (FI/CO/MM/SD/PP/QM/PM) and non-SAP integrations (CPI/PI-PO, APIs, IDocs, BAPIs).
• Review and sign off technical architecture, security concepts, and performance NFRs.
• Align extensions on SAP BTP vs in-core configurations; enforce clean-core strategy.
• Own the integrated project plan (MS Project / ADO / Jira), critical path, and dependencies.
• Baseline scope; manage CRs via a formal Change Control process with impact analysis.
• Track and report budget, forecast, burn rates, and earned value; manage contingencies.
