Day shift, Monday to Friday, from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM with on-call requirements.
Job Description
The Cardiac Catheterization Technologist will work within a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab, performing various cath lab procedures and supporting patient care. This position requires a thorough understanding of cardiac diagnostic tools and the ability to respond to life-threatening arrhythmias.
Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac cath lab.
  • Manage equipment setup and scrub procedures while maintaining a sterile field.
  • Conduct left heart and right heart catheterizations, including IABP placement and removal.
  • Interpret dysrhythmias and provide immediate intervention for life-threatening conditions.
  • Assist with cardiac stent placements and percutaneous coronary interventions.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiac cath lab.
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT Radiography preferred (will consider CCI RCIS).
  • New York state licensure required prior to submission.
