HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Job Summary:
  • Performs a full range of waived, moderate, and high-complexity testing; reports results.
  • Confirms test results' accuracy and precision.
  • Reports laboratory findings to the pathologist and other physicians on a timely basis.
  • Utilizes a complete understanding of testing procedures and theoretical knowledge to interpret results and troubleshoot problems encountered during testing.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
  • Associate degree (or equivalent) in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution

Required Experience:
  • None

Required Certification/License/Registry:
  • Licensed by the Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 483 (Health Testing Services), Part I (Clinical Laboratory Personnel) with added specialties in clinical chemistry, and/or hematology, and/or microbiology, and/or serology.
