Job Title Lab Assistant Location Virginia Beach, VA, US Organization Name Central Environmental Lab Work Schedule and Other Information The required schedule could be as early as 3 AM to 11:30 AM Monday - Friday. Must be able to work occasional holidays, weekends, and overtime when necessary. Brief Description Under broad guidance, the Lab Assistant is responsible for cleaning sample containers and specialized glassware in accordance with analytical method requirements and established deadlines. The Lab Assistant also performs critical courier functions, delivering supplies to HRSD facilities and ensuring the secure, compliant transport of regulatory samples to support and maintain VELAP accreditation. • Ability to obtain Forklift Operator Certificate (issued by HRSD)
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Transportation Worder Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the TSA
