The health services that became the Anthony L Jordan Health Corporation (Jordan Health) began more than 100 years ago, in 1904. As one of the first 5 Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) established in the nation, its roots are steeped in service to those who face barriers to health and health care, meeting their need for comprehensive medical, dentistry, behavioral health, and community services. Starting in northeast Rochester, NY, Jordan Health has since expanded to become a network of primary care offices and health centers serving residents living in three quadrants of Rochester, NY and in Canandaigua, N.Y. 


Jordan Health is now seeking a Medical Records Clerk who, under the guidance of the Director of Health Information Management/Privacy Officer, is primarily responsible for providing accurate, timely and complete scanning and indexing of all medical information.

Requirements

The Medical Records Clerk will ensure to:

Scan and indexes all medical documentation correctly in the electronic medical record. 

Review all inactive provider laboratory reports and distributes appropriately. 

Processing of all incoming electronic faxes and incoming mail on a daily basis and distributes to appropriate staff. 

Responsible for the complete record integrity, maintenance and proper record keeping. 

Other duties as required.


Education And Experience Required:

Minimum High School Diploma.

Medical terminology 

RHIT/Medical Assisting certification preferred. 


Licenses And Certifications Required:

 RHIT Certified Preferred.


Special Skills, Knowledge Required: 

Computer knowledge 

Ability to multitask
