Position Summary:
The Medical Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service while managing administrative tasks in a healthcare setting. This role ensures smooth front office operations and supports both patients and medical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately
  • Verify patient information, insurance details, and maintain accurate records
  • Collect co-pays, process payments, and issue receipts
  • Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR systems)
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Handle patient concerns with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Manage incoming/outgoing mail, faxes, and office correspondence
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming
