Position Title:Financial Coordinator
Type:Full-Time (40 hours/week), Non-Exempt
Reports To:Finance Director
Location:In-person at LYRIC's Admin Offices (San Francisco, CA)

Since 1988, LYRIC (Lavender Youth Recreation & Information Center) has been a home base for LGBTQQ+ youth in San Francisco. Each year, we support over 2,000 young people through programs rooted in love, equity, and youth leadership.

What's This Role All About?

We're looking for a detail-oriented and dependableFinancial Coordinatorto join our Finance Team and help keep our systems running smoothly. You'll be responsible for processing invoices and payroll, maintaining accurate records, and supporting donations and audits-ensuring our team can focus on serving youth, not chasing paperwork.

This is an administrative position with an emphasis on data entry, organization, and communication. You'll work closely with the Finance Director and support both the Accounting and Contracts teams.


What You'll Do

Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Process and pay bills via checks and electronic systems
  • Collect and enter credit card expenses into QuickBooks Online
  • Process donations and support bank deposits

Documentation & Systems

  • Manage digital and physical filing systems for financial records
  • Organize and maintain contractor documents (W9s, contracts)
  • Monitor and respond to finance-related emails

Payroll & Data Entry

  • Process payroll bi-weekly and enter all payroll data into QuickBooks
  • Assist with year-end payroll tasks (W2s, 1099s)

Support Audits & Compliance

  • Prepare materials and assist with the annual financial audit
  • Provide admin support on accounting and contract-related projects

Additional Duties

  • Attend staff meetings, trainings, and retreats
  • Other tasks as assigned

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Wage:$30.58/hour (40 hours/week)
Note: LYRIC uses an equity-based compensation model. Pay rates are fixed by role and tenure and are non-negotiable.
