FUTURE EXPEDITION AMBASSADOR- SHIPBOARD
Onboard Position, Fixed Contract
Atlas Ocean Voyages is seeking a highly motivated, FUTURE EXPEDITION AMBASSADOR - SHIPBOARD to join our team. As a Future Expedition Ambassador - Shipboard, you will inspire guests to continue their journey of discovery with Atlas by creating personalized future voyage experiences and cultivating lifelong relationships. Acting as both a luxury sales professional and brand storyteller, the Future Expedition Ambassador engages guests through one-on-one consultations, onboard events, and loyalty initiatives that embody the Atlas spirit.
In collaboration with the onboard and shoreside sales teams, this position plays a pivotal role in achieving onboard rebooking goals, nurturing loyalty, and delivering the next level of guest experience at sea. The goal is to create Atlas guests for life by connecting curiosity, adventure, and genuine hospitality in every interaction.

Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
  • Drives future expedition revenue by inspiring guests to reserve their next voyage while onboard.
  • Conducts private consultations, future voyage presentations, and loyalty events to engage and inform guests about Atlas itineraries and destinations.
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the Atlas fleet, itineraries, and onboard product to accurately answer guest questions and close sales.
  • Builds authentic guest relationships through social hosting: dining, tours, and casual interactions that reflect Atlas' relaxed-luxury culture.
  • Coordinates all onboard sales activity with the shoreside reservations and marketing teams to ensure accurate documentation and seamless guest follow-up.
  • Collaborates closely with the Expedition and Hotel teams to maintain brand consistency and elevate guest satisfaction.
  • Acts as an Atlas brand ambassador, representing the company with professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity at all times.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or Communications, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Demonstrated success in luxury or expedition cruise sales, travel consulting, or hospitality.
  • 2+ years of onboard experience in related jobs.
  • Superior communication, presentation, and consultative sales skills.
  • Passion for travel, exploration, and guest engagement.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Valid STCW certification and any required flag or medical documents for the duration of the contract.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a polished, guest-focused demeanor in dynamic environments.
