The Executive Personal Assistant will serve as the “ right hand” to the Owner and help manage both personal and business-related responsibilities. This role will be approximately 60% personal assistant duties and 40% executive assistant duties.
The Executive Personal Assistant will serve as a liaison between the Owner and the organization, including personal networks, clients, and various service providers. This position must exercise independent judgment in the resolution of administrative problems. They can prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with little or no supervision. This role requires the Executive Personal Assistant each day to be the "eyes, ears, and brain." The Owner is looking for someone who can help filter through constant incoming communication, identify what needs his attention, and keep things moving so he can focus on operations, meetings, podcasts, and restaurant visits. This role requires high energy, can pivot on demand, and function in a high dynamic environment.
This position is based in the surrounding Austin, TX area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Personal Assistant Responsibilities (Approx. 60%)
· Manage personal scheduling and day-to-day logistics.
· Assist with personal travel arrangements.
· Help coordinate personal appointments and commitments.
· Must be comfortable around children and able to assist with family-related logistics as needed.
Executive Assistant Responsibilities (Approx. 40%)
· Manage calendar and scheduling.
· Coordinate flights, hotels, transportation, and travel itineraries.
· Assist with meeting preparation and follow-up.
· Monitor and respond to calls, texts, and emails on Phillip's behalf.
· Help prioritize incoming communications and requests.
· Support business initiatives across Scratch Restaurants Group and his other projects.
· Attend meetings, events, restaurant visits, trainings, and other business-related activities as needed.
· Assisting with special events planning
· Using various software applications such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate, and/or format data and/or reports
· Maintaining highest level of confidentiality
· Exercising administrative judgment; assuming responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results impacting staff, costs, and/or quality of service within the functional area
· Travel will be required dependent on business needs
· Performing other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
· 2-3 years or more of experience as an executive administrative assistant in an Executive level setting
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and G-Suite
Demonstrate interpersonal skills and proficiency in business vocabulary to effectively represent the executive and the company to outside parties
· Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
· Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills
