As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will troubleshoot, sustain, and improve advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment by performing preventive and corrective maintenance, solving technical problems through structured troubleshooting, working safely under strict energy-isolation and cleanroom protocols, and partnering across shift operations, equipment engineering, and supplier teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, support continuous improvement initiatives

  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls issues

  • Use diagnostic tools and documentation to isolate faults and identify root causes

  • Monitor equipment indicators, system messages, alarms and respond to abnormalities

  • Document faults, deviations and corrective actions

  • Partner and collaborate across teams (Shift Operations, Equipment Engineers, vendors)

  • Proactively identify and escalate issues, support production priorities

  • Follow cleanroom, environmental, and safety protocols and report hazards promptly

  • Handle chemicals and hazardous energy safely and wear all required PPE

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualifying experience can be demonstrated through work experience, technical projects, military service, skilled trades, or technical assessments.
  • Basic PC and software skills for maintenance and documentation

  • Willing and able to: stand and walk full shifts on uneven or tight floors, wear PPE, respirators, and cleanroom garments, bend, kneel, and climb to reach tools, navigate confined spaces, climb ladders, work with hands above head, lift up to 40 lbs

  • Willing and able to: work rotating day/night 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends (24/7 fabs) with overtime as needed

  • Relevant technical experience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Shown through education, internships, research, military, manufacturing, or professional experience.
  • Demonstrated capability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair complex electro-mechanical or automated equipment.

  • Education or formal training in a relevant technical field.

  • Structured problem-solving.

  • Reading blueprints, schematics, and repair manuals.

  • Accurate maintenance documentation.

  • Lockout/tagout and safety protocol adherence.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience or exposure to one or more of:
  • Semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing

  • Equipment maintenance and reliability

  • Automation and robotics

  • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems

  • Industrial machinery

  • Leading maintenance and continuous improvement projects
