Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm CST; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm EST
Salary range: $15.25 - $18.00, depending on experience
What work will you perform?
As a Document Processing Specialist, you will ensure that hard copy and electronically received documents are accurately scanned, verified, encoded, and routed to the appropriate departments each day. You will also research and resolve documentation issues to help prevent delays in the final billing and settlement process, playing an important role in keeping business operations running smoothly. Essential Responsibilities:
- Audit and/or research trip and settlement information to ensure that information on trip paperwork matches information in the system
- Verify and enter specific information from invoices while indexing to ultimately release carrier/vendor settlements
- Forward discrepancies to appropriate departments
- Scan and encode documents, verifying legibility/making enhancements when necessary, according to numerous internal and external requirements
- Maintain daily production reports in Excel to provide information for departmental measurements
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- 6 months of data entry or clerical responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic Excel fundamentals; ability to update current Excel documents accurately
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Ability to efficiently review, analyze, and verify information with a high degree of accuracy.
