Job description

Centurion Health is proud to be the NEW provider of healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-time Regional Medical Director to join our team providing oversight to our Medical Directors and our facilities located in the south-central area of Illinois.
The Regional Medical Director provides the clinical direction needed to meet service delivery requirements, direct clinical services for patients, and clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned sites in the region under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Regional Medical Director ensures efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided and participates in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.
Annual salary starting at $295,000 or higher based on years of experience.
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
  • Active, unrestricted MD/DO Illinois license or ability to obtain
  • Active, unrestricted DEA
  • Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening and background check
  • BC in a primary care specialty is required

  • Monday - Friday
  • Day shift
  • No nights, holidays or weekends
  • Choice of 5, 8-hour shifts or 4, 10-hour shifts
