Volt is immediately hiring a Medical Device Assembler in Westfield, IN 46074

As a Medical Device Assembler, you will:

  • Perform assembly, repair, and testing of medical catheters under close supervision in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, and quality system requirements.
  • Accurately complete paper and electronic documentation to maintain full product traceability and support quality investigations.
  • Handle and assemble small components and precision parts, including work under a microscope.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally 
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude when interacting with internal and external customers.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and cleanroom protocols.
  • Perform repetitive manual tasks such as grasping, pinching, pulling, twisting, and fine motor movements for extended periods.
  • Sit or stand for prolonged periods while maintaining focus and attention to detail.

This is a full time, contract opportunity.

Schedule: 
1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Monday to Friday

2nd Shift: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Monday to Friday

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Required Skills & Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • Prior experience as a Medical Device Assembler or Production Assembler is required
    • Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and verbal directions.
    • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and compliance.
    • Excellent manual dexterity and ability to manipulate small parts and tools.
    • Comfortable performing prolonged microscope work.
    • Ability to work in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment.
    • Basic computer skills for documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Preferred Skills & Qualifications
    • Previous cleanroom experience strongly preferred.

Pay Rate: $20- $23 per hour.
