BEPC is hiring Medical Device Assemblers to join our client's manufacturing team in Irvine, California. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on, detail-oriented work and want to build valuable experience in the medical device industry.

In this role, you'll help manufacture high-quality medical devices, including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related assemblies. You'll perform precision assembly, repair, testing, documentation, and production activities while working within established quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on assembly, repair, and testing of medical devices and related components.
  • Support the production of pacemakers, ICDs, leads, and associated medical device assemblies.
  • Handle and maneuver small components and precision parts with care and accuracy.
  • Follow established manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements.
  • Inspect work to ensure products meet established manufacturing and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate traveler, production, and quality documentation to ensure product traceability.
  • Enter and maintain manufacturing information using electronic data collection systems and applicable software.
  • Identify production issues and communicate concerns and potential solutions to supervisors and team members.
  • Prioritize assigned work to support production schedules and operational goals.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
  • Support manufacturing cell performance and production metrics.
  • Follow all required safety procedures and properly use applicable safety equipment.
  • Support Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to maintain an efficient, quality-focused production environment.
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude when interacting with coworkers, leadership, and facility visitors.
  • Work overtime when required to meet production needs.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written manufacturing procedures and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to handle small components and parts.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to use electronic data collection systems.
  • Ability to accurately complete manufacturing and production documentation.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and exercise appropriate judgment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work the required Mondayโ€“Friday, 5:00 AMโ€“1:30 PM schedule.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous medical device assembly or manufacturing experience.
  • Cleanroom manufacturing experience.
  • Experience working with small or precision components.
  • Electronics or small-parts assembly experience.
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience maintaining production, traveler, or quality documentation.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
  • Experience using electronic manufacturing systems or data collection tools.


Work Environment

This position is performed onsite in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment where quality, precision, cleanliness, and documentation are essential.

Employees will perform detailed hands-on work with small components and must consistently follow established cleanroom, safety, quality, gowning, and contamination-control requirements.

The manufacturing environment includes specific requirements regarding clothing, jewelry, cosmetics, artificial nails, fragrances, and other potential contamination sources. Employees must follow all applicable PPE, gowning, grooming, and cleanroom procedures.
