Lead iOS (Swift) Software Engineer – Medical Device Startup

We’re partnering with a well-funded, fast-growing startup to hire a Lead iOS/Swift Software Engineer. This is a high-impact, full-time role where you’ll shape the future of a product designed to improve human health. You’ll start as a senior individual contributor with strong technical ownership and grow into broader engineering leadership as the team scales.

What You’ll Do

  • Own architecture and technical direction for iOS applications and device-to-cloud interfaces

  • Design, build, and maintain native iOS apps using Swift

  • Develop and support web services and interfaces (GCP preferred)

  • Lead software decisions across mobile, backend, and system integrations

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with firmware and hardware teams

  • Establish best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable engineering standards

  • Conduct code reviews and ensure high quality, security, and maintainability

What You Bring

  • Proven experience building iOS/Swift applications that interface with medical devices

  • Track record of owning software products end-to-end

  • Experience across mobile and web platforms

Nice to Have

  • GCP (or AWS), Kubernetes, CI/CD pipeline experience

  • Familiarity with medical device standards (ISO 13485, IEC 62304)
