Medical Device Assembler Compensation
- The pay for this position is $22.00/hr
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
Medical Device Assembler Schedule
- This is a first-shift position (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday). Must be able to work flexible or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.
Medical Device Assembler Responsibilities
- Responsible for following safety policies and procedures.
- Work on various assembly lines including but not limited to: cartridge filling, applicator assembly and packaging operations.
- Responsible for following all required GMP’s and applicable manufacturing procedures.
- Builds product per production schedules using hand tools and small power tools to assemble units.
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Assists manufacturing engineering with equipment maintenance.
- Supports R&D builds.
- Maintains organization of production area.
- Supports requirements necessary to establish and maintain FDA, ISO and CMDR compliance.
- Performs a variety of inspections, tests, and operations as required, to ensure the quality of manufactured product while adhering to company procedures.
- Performs production area (Cleanroom and packaging) cleaning as described in pertinent cleaning schedule.
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
Medical Device Assembler Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 6 months to 3 years of experience in a directly related manufacturing or assembly role.
- Familiarity with standard practices and procedures in the medical device field.
- Ability to read, interpret, and comprehend English-written specifications.
- Basic math skills and the ability to use measurement tools such as microscopes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- High attention to detail and willingness to take on various tasks.
