Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assembler - Biotech Manufacturing for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Poway, CA. This role supports the production of clinical diagnostic test kits and bulk reagents used in automated chemistry analyzers for important healthcare testing areas, including cardiovascular disease, liver disease, cancer markers, renal disease, diabetes, and electrolytes.
This is a strong opportunity for candidates with hands-on assembly, production, or manufacturing experience who enjoy detailed, repetitive work in a clean, quality-focused medical device manufacturing environment. The team operates under cGMP and ISO 13485 standards, with structured procedures, supportive production leadership, and a collaborative work environment focused on quality, consistency, and continuous improvement.
The Assembler - Biotech Manufacturing role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accurate work, follows detailed instructions, and wants a stable schedule with potential long-term growth based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform repetitive assembly line filling, packaging, and labeling of diagnostic test products and bulk reagents.
- Set up, adjust, assemble, disassemble, and assist with routine production instruments according to specifications.
- Monitor product quality throughout production and ensure work meets established quality specifications.
- Perform tests and verify product quality in accordance with control procedures and work instructions.
- Read and follow diagrams, drawings, specifications, work instructions, and related assembly documentation.
- Complete housekeeping, lab ware cleaning, cleanup tasks, and other production support duties as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $22 to $23 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-hire based on performance.
- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Work Schedule: 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.
- Location: Poway, CA.
