Job Summary:

This Senior Healthcare Application Analyst supports clinical applications and medical device integration platforms that enable patient care and operational workflows. Responsibilities include application configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, system implementations, integration support, testing, project participation, vendor coordination, and on-call support. The analyst works closely with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize healthcare technology solutions, including integrations with Epic and other enterprise systems.
This role is not an Epic-centric application support role and does not include software development. Scope of supported technologies may include patient monitoring systems, medical device integrations, clinical communication and alerting platforms, patient engagement solutions, and other healthcare technology applications
Note: This role is a hybrid role, based in the Nashville area, with on-site duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports applications and integrations that enable clinical and operational workflows.

Supports integration of medical devices and third-party clinical systems with enterprise applications, including Epic and related healthcare technology platforms.

Leads or participates in application implementations, upgrades, system migrations, and go-live support activities.

Serves as a technical escalation point for complex application, integration, and workflow issues.

Analyzes clinical workflows supported by the assigned products and their relationship to the technical environment in which they operate.
May perform analysis and design of supporting technical infrastructures.
Supports clinical implementations for assigned products which may also include testing and QA, reporting, product life cycle, communication/collaboration with customers and vendors, and training users.
Assists with onboarding and training as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (Required)

5+ years of healthcare IT, clinical applications, interface support, medical device integration, or related experience preferred.

Experience supporting clinical applications in a healthcare environment preferred.

Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, APIs, interfaces, device connectivity, or similar technologies) preferred.

Experience leading projects, implementations, or operational initiatives preferred.

Testing (Intermediate): Possesses a high level of skill to develop new and execute pre-designed program test data, load testing, and ensures validity of data passed among programs. Able to use automated testing aids to help debug programs. Creates and maintains appropriate test documentation for regulatory requirements.
Technical Analysis (Intermediate): Possesses high level of knowledge of the functionality of assigned products and the systems with which they interface. Proactively identifies, analyzes, and develops solutions to complex clinical, administrative, financial, operational, and technical issues. Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable to successfully design build, configure, install, run reports, and perform maintenance support with minimal instruction or guidance from others. Participates in optimization efforts. May lead projects and delegate tasks.
Configuration Management and Planning (Intermediate): Demonstrates a conceptual and business understanding of configuration management, planning and related topics. Able to quickly and accurately discuss the impact of new technology, platforms, and design criteria. Understands and monitors key business indicators as they may apply to enhancements of the system.
