Location: Milford, PA

Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday | 8:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Employment Type: Full-Time


FSS Staffing is seeking motivated, detail-oriented Pennsylvania-based Data Collectors to support an important property reassessment project. This is a highly visible, field-based role responsible for inspecting, verifying, and accurately documenting the physical characteristics of residential and commercial real estate properties.

This position offers full-time hours, mileage reimbursement, and the opportunity for long-term career growth for candidates who demonstrate strong performance and professionalism.


Position Summary

The Data Collector plays a key role in ensuring accurate property data is gathered and recorded in support of county reassessment efforts. As a public-facing representative of the project, you will interact with property owners and community members while maintaining professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site inspections of residential and commercial properties
  • Accurately verify, gather, and record physical property characteristics
  • Utilize data collection tools and equipment to document findings
  • Submit daily/weekly progress reports to track assigned workload
  • Maintain accurate, organized records of inspections completed
  • Serve as a professional representative of the reassessment project when interacting with the public
  • Follow all safety and compliance guidelines while working in the field

Qualifications
  • Must be located in or near Pike County, PA, with reliable transportation to assigned locations
  • Valid driverโ€™s license required
  • Ability to work a full 40-hour work week
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to professionally address public inquiries
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, stretch, kneel, and climb stairs as needed
  • Ability to carry 5โ€“10 lbs. of equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently


Preferred Qualifications
  • Real estate experience
  • Census, mail carrier, delivery, or other field-based experience
  • CPE license
