With 27 skilled urologists, two urogynecologists, two radiation oncologist, two medical oncologist, one pathologist, a team of physicians assistants and nurse practitioners and over 225 employees, the practice has earned a well-deserved reputation for excellence in the Birmingham medical community.

The Urology Centers physicians are leading the way in cutting-edge medical procedures such as minimally invasive robotic surgery, endoscopic and laser surgery and radioactive seed implantation for prostate cancer. The practice also plays an integral role in the field of urology through research studies conducted at the facility. Urology Centers of Alabama is committed to investigating the effectiveness of all treatment options, including new drugs and procedures that hold great promise.

What you will do:

  • After training, this position may work remote! Must be located in the State of Alabama or Georgia.
  • Interpret and bill for physician, clinical, and surgical services using Allscripts EHR/PM, using ICD-10 coding.
  • Ensure billing for payors is accurate and transmitted on time.
  • Audit batches and documentation as necessary to ensure compliance with UCA and regulatory standards.

What type of experience do you need?

  • Be a CPC, or equivalent, certified coder with at least two years of experience.
