Professional Fee ENT Coder - On-Site Healthcare Coding Role

On-site Professional Fee Coder with ENT expertise needed. Join a high-volume healthcare coding team supporting a specialty healthcare environment. This full-time medical coding opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented coder experienced in evaluation and management (E/M), office procedures, and surgical cases. Professional Fee Coder Requirements
  • At least 1 year of professional fee coding experience required
  • ENT coding experience strongly preferredli>
  • Experience coding a mix of E/M services, office procedures, and surgical cases
  • Experience with larger ENT surgical cases such as thyroidectomies, sinus surgeries, and larynx procedures preferred
  • Experience with audiology, VNG exams, and flexible scope procedure coding preferredli>
  • 3M CAC experience required
  • Ability to navigate TouchWorks and PowerChart as needed
  • Strong productivity, accuracy, and attention to detail in a fast-paced medical coding environment
Responsibilities
  • Review and assign accurate professional fee codes for ENT encounters
  • Code evaluation and management visits, office procedures, and surgical services
  • Support coding for a broad range of ENT cases, including complex surgical procedures
  • Maintain productivity expectations with an average goal of 10 charts per hour
  • Use 3M CAC and other documentation systems to support efficient coding workflows
  • Navigate TouchWorks and PowerChart to access and review clinical documentation
  • Ensure coding quality, compliance, and timely completion of assigned work
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support operational goals and coding accuracy
