WRHP - Coder/Biller

The Coder/Biller is responsible for accurate medical coding and timely billing of professional services provided by hospital-based physicians. This role ensures compliance with federal and payer regulations while optimizing revenue capture and minimizing denials.

Education and Training

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
  • CPC, CCS, or equivalent certification preferred.

Experience

  • 2+ years of professional (physician) coding and billing experience, preferably hospital-based.

Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications

  • Knowledge of E/M guidelines, modifiers, and payer rules.
  • Proficiency with EHRs and practice management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
