The Hospital Billing Manager will oversee daily hospital billing operations for inpatient and outpatient facility claims; ensure accurate claim construction, timely submission, and regulatory compliance across all payers; ensure correct use of bill types, revenue codes, modifiers, occurrence codes, condition codes, and value codes; oversee resolution of hospital claim edits (NCCI, OCE, MUE) prior to submission; identify and correct recurring billing errors & implement corrective actions and staff education; supervise hospital billing staff to ensure accuracy and compliance; support internal and external audits related to hospital billing and compliance; collaborate with Coding, Compliance, Patient Access, Case Management, and clinical departments on billing issues; report billing risks, trends, and compliance concerns to department leadership; and any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum
  • 7+ Years of hospital revenue cycle experience & 4-6 years of direct hospital billing

Preferred
  • Audit support experience & hospital billing systems (e.g., Meditech)
