Job description

Provide instruction on Medical Terminology & Anatomy, Medical Coding Specialist, and Medical Billing Specialist Programs in preparation for AAPC national certification exams. Additional responsibilities include evaluating student progress; preparing curriculum and course materials; keeping abreast and implementing coding updates into the curriculum; proctoring AAPC exams on campus; and analyzing program progress.

A $6,000 signing bonus will be paid, based upon satisfactory performance and continued employment, in two equal installments. The first installment will be paid in May 2026, and the second installment will be paid in December 2026.
Salary: $4,000 per month, with final salary determination based upon education and experience. (Competitive retirement, and optional health benefit plans available).
Start Date: Open until filled.
Closing Date: Open until filled.Required: 3 years professional experience as a medical coder. Must hold Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification from AAPC or be able to obtain credential within 90 days of hire. High school diploma or equivalent, required. Working knowledge of online training platforms, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint, required. Associates degree or higher in a healthcare-related field and teaching experience, preferred. Official transcripts, including other documentation verifying all reported educational qualifications, are required.
