  • Attend in-service and educational programs, completing continuing education as required by state regulations.

  • Implement infection control practices consistently.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of fire and emergency procedures, reporting safety violations appropriately.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course.
  • Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Certification required.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills to interact with residents, families, and staff.
  • Ability to work safely in an environment caring for seniors without posing health or safety risks.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
