Job description

Legal Billing & Collections Coordinator

*ON-SITE POSITION*

About the role

An established, fast-growing law firm is hiring an organized, proactive billing professional to manage follow-ups on attorney lien files and referred-out cases. This is a training-forward role — we care more about someone sharp, driven, and detail-obsessed than someone who already knows personal injury. If you have billing experience and want to own a process end to end, this is a seat with real upside.

What you'll do

  • Track and follow up on attorney lien files through resolution
  • Manage collections on cases referred out to co-counsel, keeping every file moving
  • Own monthly collections targets and chase what's outstanding
  • Keep clean, current records across active files
  • Flag stalled files early and drive them to close

What we're looking for

  • Billing, collections, or accounts receivable experience (legal or medical billing a plus)
  • Organized and proactive — you don't wait to be asked twice
  • Comfortable owning follow-up and pushing files forward
  • Trainable and hungry; law-firm background not required

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary
  • Monthly bonus structure tied to collections
