Sunshine Physician Services, Inc was founded in 1999 and our central billing office is located in Jupiter, FL. Our company vision is not to be the largest medical billing company but to provide the most personalized medical billing and contract negotiation experience possible.
Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Accurately enter payment and adjustment data into the patient account from electronic remittance (ERA) and paper EOB.
  • Processes refunds and related items as needed. Performs periodic and month-end balancing and reporting activities.
  • Follow regulations, guideline and policies and procedures for billing multiple insurance lines. Review explanation of benefits for correct payment and denials

Requirements:
  • Must have at least one year of medical billing experience
  • Prior Customer Service experience
  • Microsoft Excel, basic skills required. Knowledge of medical billing, coding and collections
  • Knowledge of NueMD, OpenPM, and Intergy is a plus
