PRN Atlanta Staffing is working with a practice In Buckhead seeking a medical biller focused on insurance AR follow-up.

Primary Responsibilities

Insurance A/R follow-up.

Medicare A/R follow-up.

May provide coordination of billing activities among peers, including recognition of problems and researching options for the supervisor/manager.

Performs billing and insurance verification as assigned.

Calculate out-of-pocket amounts for advanced diagnostic services.

Contact patient with anticipated amount due.

Responds to inquiries regarding patient accounts with appropriate and accurate information in a professional manner.



Qualifications

Education/Experience/Knowledge


High School diploma or equivalent.


Two years of RECENT experience in medical billing and collections.


EMR software experience is a plus.
