Job description

*Hiring Bonus! We’re so looking forward to working with you that we’re offering up to a $1,000 hiring bonus for full time Medical Assistants.

Office location: Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Office 1000 Dutch Ridge Road Beaver, PA 15009 and 701 Broad Street Suite 403 Sewickley, PA 15143
Work hours: Monday - Friday daylight, no weekends, no major holidays

Rooms patients, collects vital signs, review patient medication list and patient medical/social history, collects specimens and performs basic laboratory tests, administers injections and medications as directed by provider in addition to other clinical tasks.  Administrative duties include ordering supplies, updating/maintaining medical records, obtaining referrals/authorizations and scheduling appointments.

REQUIRED

High School graduate or equivalent.  Medical Assistant Certification (i.e., AAMA CMA, AMT RMA, NHA CCMA, NCCT NCMA, or NAHP NRCMA), CPR Certification, Computer experience, Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

PREFERRED

Medical Assistant diploma or degree programMinimum of one year medical assisting experience.  Proficient in venipuncture. .
