Academic medical center in the Bronx is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join (Level 2 Trauma). Full-time employed position with a guaranteed base salary, quality and productivity incentive. Hospital benefits include PTO, retirement, CME, and more.
Job Description:
Compensation : $375000 - $400000 Job ID : 26432

Job Function:

  • Large teaching hospital in the Bronx that focuses on ongoing education, opportunity to interact with medical students.
  • No orthopedic surgery residents currently but have large PA service that first assists in OR and many opportunities for research if desired.
  • Department consists of five attendings that currently take trauma call.
  • 1-2 half day clinic sessions per week + round once a week with PAs + OR time + admin time.

Job Requirements:

  • Residency in Orthopedic Surgery Required.
  • Fellowship training in Trauma Orthopedic Surgery preferred, but not Required.
  • NY State License.
  • H1B cap exempt - they can sponsor a visa candidate.
  • New Residents/Fellows Graduating in next 9-12 months are encouraged to apply!
