Neonatology Fellowship Opportunity for Physician Assistant!

A progressive pediatric group of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners are seeking a physician assistant for an excellent neonatal fellowship opportunity!

Program details: The Physician Assistant Neonatal Post-Graduate Training Program

The Physician Assistant Neonatal Post-Graduate Training Program with Pediatrix Neonatology of San Antonio is a 12-month intensive program designed for graduate physician assistants (PAs) seeking to subspecialize in neonatology. This program provides PAs with the crucial skills needed to deliver comprehensive, team-based care for high-risk and convalescing newborns. The program runs 12-months and includes:

  • Mentoring
  • Didactic teaching
  • Simulations
  • Skills training
  • Clinical experiences

Pediatrix Medical Group of San Antonio:

  • The group provides a full range of newborn/neonatal care in three inner-city hospital systems with multiple Level-II and Level-III+ NICUs
  • The medical community includes a wide range of mother and infant subspecialists supported by two children's hospitals for this growing South Texas area
  • Responsibilities include managing and facilitating comprehensive neonatal care including programs for HFOV, nitric oxide and ECMO
  • We welcome new graduates and provide a comprehensive new graduate orientation and mentor program

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited PA Program
  • Must be a NCPPA Certified PA prior to matriculating
  • Must attain licensure as a PA in TX prior to matriculating
