Job description

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Escort patients to exam rooms
  • Gather vital signs, height and weight
  • Administer injections, vaccinations
  • Perform venipuncture, collect specimens with proper labeling
  • Assist providers with procedures such as bedside I&D, suturing
  • Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
  • Administrative tasks such as patient registration, insurance gathering, answering phone calls

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in urgent care/clinic setting preferred
  • Familiarity with electronic charting/medical records
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
