Traveling Medical-Surgical Charge RN

Traveling Medical-Surgical Charge RN for a 13-week contract in Ozark, Alabama. Responsible for leading nursing care, coordinating patient flow, and ensuring high-quality outcomes while receiving competitive weekly compensation up to $2,160. Ideal for experienced RN with Med/Surg and charge nurse experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe, compassionate, high-quality care to adult medical-surgical patients.
  • Serve as Charge RN, coordinating patient care and supporting daily unit operations.
  • Supervise, collaborate, and lead nursing staff to promote efficient patient care delivery.
  • Assess patients, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate responses to treatment.
  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policies.
  • Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes requiring prompt intervention.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, ancillary staff, patients, and families.
  • Delegate nursing responsibilities while maintaining accountability for patient outcomes.
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation per facility requirements.
  • Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and quality assurance standards.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and prioritize care in a fast-paced Med/Surg environment.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Alabama.
