Build Advanced Equipment at LACO Technologies


LACO Technologies is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician II to join our Production Assembly team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, building complex equipment, troubleshooting problems, and working with both electrical and mechanical systems.


You'll help build custom vacuum and leak testing systems used by leading organizations in aerospace, medical, automotive, and advanced technology industries.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble electrical and mechanical components for custom equipment
  • Build and wire control panels and electrical assemblies
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Install sensors, controls, and electrical devices
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues during assembly
  • Test and verify completed assemblies
  • Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Test teams


What We're Looking For


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Experience wiring control panels, machines, or industrial equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Experience

  • Typically attained through 3+ years of electro-mechanical assembly, industrial wiring, panel building, machine building, maintenance, or related experience
  • Candidates with demonstrated technical skills and troubleshooting ability may be considered with equivalent education, military training, or hands-on experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with custom machinery or automation equipment
  • Control panel assembly experience
  • Technical school, apprenticeship, military technical training, or vocational education
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment


Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $30.00 per hour
