Position Summary:


The Healthcare Administration Intern assists the Operations Director team while reporting to the assigned Executive Director with a variety of administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the facility. This role provides exposure to healthcare management through assisting in the coordination of activities that align practitioner goals, patient needs, and organizational objectives, while supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of the leadership team.


Essential Functions:

  1. Support the operations team by assisting with basic administrative tasks and helping to organize processes.
  2. Assist Directors and staff with small projects and day-to-day activities.
  3. Help track timesheets and support simple HR tasks like scheduling or recruitment assistance.
  4. Observe and learn about how the clinic delivers patient care and services.
  5. Help maintain positive relationships by assisting with community outreach activities.
  6. Assist with coordinating clinic services to support patient-centered care.
  7. Support the team in maintaining compliance with clinic policies and safety guidelines.
  8. Help collect data and assist with basic reporting for performance improvement activities.
  9. Assist in organizing staff training sessions and maintaining training materials.
  10. Attend meetings when needed and share updates with the team.
  11. Provide general support to staff and managers as requested.
  12. Work cooperatively with others to help the clinic meet its goals.
  13. Follow clinic policies and safety procedures, including Exposure Control Plans.
  14. Treat everyone with respect and maintain a professional attitude.
  15. Perform other simple tasks as assigned to support the team and gain experience.


Health Requirements:


All employees are required to provide proof of vaccination for Hepatitis B and Tuberculosis (TB) as part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
