Job description

The Jabra team in Cupertino is seeking a Senior Camera Design Engineer.

This position will be a key contributor to GN's existing and future Video product lines. The candidate will architect, design and implement key features on embedded systems with Android and/or RTOS.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for Camera tuning as well as post ISP image processing pipeline to produce image and video
  • The candidate will also be the subject matter expert in defining measurement criteria to evaluate different video products, and helping Product team to define product specs

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with an MS/BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • At least 2+ years of experience working on ISP tuning, preferably but not required on Qualcomm Spectra ISP

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong programming skills in Java and/or C/C++ on SoC
  • Working knowledge of Android BSP on Qualcomm/Mediatek SoC
  • Optimization with either CUDA or OpenCL
  • Experience with any of the Android APIs like Camera2 API, gRPC, AIDL, ALSA, JNI, and HAL level programming

Pay Transparency Notice:

  • Depending upon experience and location, the target annual base salary for this position can range from $120,000.00 to $190,000.00
  • In addition, you may be eligible for a 10%-15%discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end
  • Compensation for roles at GN depend on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience
