Come Join our team as a Marketing Specialist - Websites & Social Media here at Adelante!
As a Marketing Specialist at Adelante, you'll help bring our mission to life by sharing meaningful stories, connecting people to our programs, and showcasing the impact we make every day in our community.


What You will Do:

  • Work cooperatively with the VP of Marketing & Communications on promotion of Adelante resources and benefits for our internal team members.
  • Responsible for writing and editing text for our publications, press releases, social media, and websites, as well as proofreading for these materials for others as part of a collaborative team.
  • Responsible for internal communications projects, as well as some external publications, websites, and social media support.
  • Assist with coordination and planning for booth opportunities and/or events to explain our work to external audiences such as staff meetings and celebrations, press conferences, lunches/dinners, open houses, grand openings etc.
  • Manage the marketing supplies such as creating/printing flyers and materials when needed, and re-stocking supplies.
  • Compiling, printing, and sending materials requested by other departments or partner organizations, for internal and external use for distribution at their locations.
  • Attend and photograph Adelante events and programs; occasionally interacting with staff members and clients.
  • Assist with market research for current and potential service areas, for both Adelante and our subsidiaries or contracts.
  • Help to design or edit posters, social media posts, and/or editing existing materials to reflect updates or for new uses or audiences.
  • Maintain mailing lists to include E-mail for the marketing of Adelante and our subsidiaries and contracts to assist with the promotion of our agency programs and businesses enterprises.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule & Pay:


Job Type: Full-time Monday thru Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm


Pay from: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour DOE.

Requirements

  • Two or more years of marketing and/or applicable administrative work experience is required.
  • Four-year degree in marketing, public relations or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Strong writing abilities for Web, social media, and PR as well as general business communications is required.
  • Must be able to present a friendly, courteous image for the Agency to the general public, customers, and public officials.

Other Requirements: Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening. Must possess a valid NM driver's license, and proof of auto liability insurance. Must have own reliable transportation and agency insurable driving record. Must be able to sit, perform keyboarding functions continually. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach above shoulder(s) frequently. Must be able to squat, kneel, push/pull and lift 40 lbs. frequently. Must be able to crawl, climb 5 ft., crouch, balance, and carry occasionally May be required to visit various locations in order to carry out the essential job duties.
