  • Coordinate creative production requests with cross-functional teams and agency partners, ensuring deliverables are clearly scoped, submitted, reviewed, and completed on schedule.

  • Review partner, creator, and user-generated content on an ongoing basis and proactively identify opportunities to repurpose high-performing content across Hy-Vee's owned social channels.

  • Ideate and recommend monthly content strategies in collaboration with the Social Media Manager across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads, YouTube, and X.

  • Collaborate with the Influencer team on holistic organic corporate content strategy.

  • Own organic social media reporting efforts and communicate campaign performance and insights to leadership.

  • Monitor social platform updates and translate relevant changes into team training, education, and updated best practices.

  • Research and champion emerging technology, tools, and software that strengthen the team's social media capabilities and improve efficiency.

  • Stay current on social media trends, competitor activity, platform developments, and industry news, sharing relevant insights and recommendations with the team.

  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert on social platform trends, algorithms, publishing requirements, and best practices.

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding advertising, pricing, campaign, and company information.

Your Skills

  • Commitment to the Hy-Vee mission and a willingness to promote the values of the company.

  • Demonstrated understanding of social media platforms, their unique audiences, and how to use them to maximize brand awareness and marketing results.

  • In-depth knowledge of content marketing strategy and the ability to take a concept from ideation to full execution.

  • Strong understanding of social reporting, analytics, and the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.

  • In-depth knowledge of social media management platforms, content management systems, and reporting tools.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams and communicate clearly to leadership.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and adapt quickly when priorities or direction change.
