Job description

Description
Social Media Manager & Content Creator
Reports To: Design and Marketing Manager
Location: Cresco - Davis Corners
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Social Media Manager & Content Creator to manage and elevate our brand's online presence. This role goes beyond traditional social media management - you will be responsible for concepting, capturing, and creating visually compelling content that showcases our trailer product lines and brings our brand to life.
You will play a key role in transforming our manufacturing processes, products, and industry presence into engaging, modern, and visually elevated content that resonates with both dealers and end-users. The ideal candidate combines a passion for the manufacturing industry with strong creative instincts and data-driven insights to increase brand awareness, lead generation, and customer loyalty.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with company business goals, with a focus on promoting various trailer product lines (e.g., utility, enclosed, heavy-duty) in a visually engaging way.
Creative Content Production:
Concept, shoot, edit, and publish high-quality, original content (photo, video, reels, short-form content) on a consistent basis. This includes hands-on content creation in shop environments, outdoor settings, and real-world use cases.
Visual Brand Elevation:
Continuously improve the overall look and feel of our social platforms by creating a cohesive, polished, and premium visual identity that makes our trailers and manufacturing process stand out.
Manufacturing Storytelling:
Capture and showcase the craftsmanship, innovation, and behind-the-scenes aspects of our manufacturing process in a way that is both informative and visually compelling.
Trend Adaptation:
Stay on top of social media trends and adapt them in a way that aligns with our brand and industry, ensuring content feels relevant without losing authenticity.
Event & Travel Content Capture:
Travel periodically (a few times per year) to trade shows, industry events, and brand activations to capture real-time content and tell the story of our brand in action. Additionally, travel to other company plant locations as needed to capture a high volume of photo and video content that supports multiple brands and ongoing content needs.
Campaign Management:
Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads) to drive traffic, dealer inquiries, and direct sales, adhering to set budgets.
Community Management:
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely, professional manner to foster engagement and provide customer support.
Brand Representation:
Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistent tone, voice, and visual identity across all platforms.
Analytics & Reporting:
Track KPIs (reach, engagement, clicks, lead conversions) using tools like Google Analytics and platform insights, providing monthly reports with actionable recommendations.
Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing and sales teams to support product launches, promotions, and event coverage, ensuring strong alignment across departments.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, or similar role, preferably in manufacturing, automotive, or industrial sectors
• Demonstrated ability to create original, engaging content (photo/video) - not just manage or schedule posts
• Strong creative eye with experience in visual storytelling, branding, and content aesthetics
• Ability to take technical or industrial subject matter and make it visually engaging and "cool"
• Proficiency in content creation and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, etc.)
