Job Summary/Description:
Looking for a steady weekday office role, just around the corner from the beach? WJHG is hiring a Media Coordinator to help ensure every commercial and campaign runs accurately and on time across our platforms. This role supports Sales, clients, and station operations by managing orders, commercial files, and daily commercial logs.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Enter and update orders accurately: Collect and input advertising instructions and copy details for campaigns across stations/platforms.
- Work in our traffic system: Maintain commercial information and keep our spot library organized (WideOrbit experience is a plus, not required; we'll train).
- Coordinate with Sales and clients: Confirm details, resolve questions quickly, and help campaigns run smoothly and professionally.
- Keep logs clean and compliant: Flag missing instructions early and help adjust schedules when changes occur so spots air correctly.
- Manage commercial files: Download commercials and import them into our station systems, confirm they're in the right place, and ready to air.
- Monitor for accuracy + clean up: Review files and logs for accuracy, remove outdated/expired commercials, and keep the library current.
- Close the loop daily: Finalize commercial logs and send daily confirmations so the whole team stays aligned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and pride in accuracy (especially with typing and data entry)
- Dependable and consistent- this role runs on deadlines and follow-through
- Comfortable using computers and managing files/folders
- Preferred: experience with Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Professional communication with teammates and clients
- Positive, "jump-in-and-help" attitude in a fast-paced environment
