Job description

Job Summary:
Responsible for translating business ambition into actionable media strategies, ensuring plans are rigorous and execution-ready, and turning insights into smarter plans and stronger growth outcomes. This role leads enterprise media planning frameworks, investment stewardship, measurement integration, and cross team collaboration to deliver high performing, audience driven media plans.
Position Responsibilities
Media Strategy & Planning Leadership
  • Build strategies, frameworks, media & audience methodologies, investment principles and operating standards to establish Conagra as a world-class in-house media organization.
  • Serve as the organizations thought leader on modern media strategy, ensuring media investment translates into clear business outcomes, consumer understanding, and measurable, tracked growth goals & ROI targets.
  • Partner with Brand, Analytics, and finance teams to support annual planning, scenario modeling, and investment decisions.
  • Establish & maintain activation standards, QA systems, and ensure executional quality across all media channels.

Elevate Media Effectiveness through Insights & Learning
  • Establish learning agendas, testing frameworks, and optimization processes that continuously improve media ROI, accelerate enterprise learnings, and reimagines our performance and operating model.
  • Lead the learning plan process and communication/reporting operating model to ensure insights inform both media and broader marketing improvement.
  • Establish the long-term roadmap for media technology, automation, operational efficiency, and data science, partnering with Analytics and IT teams to evolve data infrastructure, reporting capabilities, and reporting systems.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and AI-enabled solutions to improve media effectiveness.

Measurement & Performance Leadership
  • Define media success metrics and performance expectations aligned to business objectives and deliver reporting tools and operating models to deliver a culture of awareness and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Marketing Analytics to integrate MMM, incrementality, campaign performance, and audience insights into planning decisions.
  • Lead performance reviews and optimization discussions across stakeholders.
  • Ensure learnings are captured, prioritized, and applied to future investments and planning decisions.

Team Building & Thought Leadership
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a strong team of Media Planners and Specialists to grow in their media acumen and capabilities, fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Scale and deploy learnings frameworks and planning methodologies across brand team and cross functional partners.
  • Champion planning innovation and adoption of emerging media best practices.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders through clear storytelling, analytical and performance-based insights, and storytelling.
  • Lead strategic planning reviews with brand, commerce, analytics, finance, and other stakeholders, providing strategic direction and performance expectations to agency and activation partners.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of media planning, media strategy, or integrated communications experience.
  • Experience connecting media investments to business and financial outcomes.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience partnering with analytics teams to leverage measurement and learning frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of audience strategy, channel planning, and integrated media ecosystems.

Compensation
Pay Range:$135,000-$200,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
