Job description

The MediaServices Coordinator reports to the Director of Technology Services.This position is responsible for overseeing the media services staff.ย  The position provides technical support tostudents, faculty, staff and administrators in the use of media equipment. Assiststhe Multimedia staff with video streaming and satellite facilities and functions.

RESPONSIBILITIESย 

Supervise and monitor workload for Media Services Staff.
Assist with all audio and video equipment related activities for College events, activities, and functions, interfacing with visitors, staff, faculty, students, and administration.
Provide media equipment technical support for all campus functions and activities.
Maintain and review schedule of activities regularly to ensure media services team is properly staffed to provide sufficient coverage during operating hours and during times when support for special events or functions is required.
Develop and maintain standard procedures and equipment for college classrooms, meeting rooms, and event rooms.
Coordinate and manage the scheduling and distribution of media equipment to Sugar Grove campus.
Maintain media equipment inventory.
Assist Director of Technology Services with project management activities and coordination of contracted services as necessary. Gather quotes or inputs for bids and Request for Proposals to support procurement activities.
Install and coordinate the testing of media hardware, and media related devices.
