Job description

The Story Church in Houston, TX is seeking a part-time or contact position to help run media productions on Sunday mornings, with some preparation required during the week. Qualified candidates are encourage to apply via the resume upload option.
Part Time Position (10-12 hours a week)
Compensation: $35-40 an hour, depending on experience
The responsibilities of this role include:
Thursdays/Fridays (2-3 hrs) -
  • Inputting weekly slides for worship lyrics, sermon needs, and updating pre-roll graphics provided by designated staff members
  • Assist with upkeep of production hardware

Sundays (6:30am-1:30pm, 7 hrs) -
  • Print run of shows for audio team, production team and pastors
  • Turn on and set up lobby television screens
  • Make corrections to lyrics and operate lyric slides during band rehearsal from 7-8am
  • Make adjustments to and test all sermon slides, including multimedia elements such as video clips
  • Run all slides during services (services start at 8:30, 9:45 and 11:05am)
  • Communicate with band member on timing during services, such as a 5 minute warning for sermon ending
  • Communicate with Audio, Production, and Pastors about any special elements for display during services (i.e. baptisms, additional scripture readings, videos, etc.)

AFTER SERVICE
  • Trim HD stream down to just sermon
  • Export sermon audio and video and upload to distribution channels (Soundcloud and Youtube)
  • Cut 2-3 clips for using on social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube
