We're looking for a highly creative, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented Social Media & Personal Brand Lead to elevate both Side's brand across social media.

This is not a traditional social media management role.

We're looking for someone who understands how attention is earned, how brands are built on social media, and how great content influences business decisions. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, creator, storyteller, and operator. They bring original ideas, move quickly, and have a strong instinct for what will resonate with ambitious business owners.

You will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that position Side as the most innovative company in real estate while building meaningful engagement with top-producing agents, team leaders, and brokerage owners across the country.

Success in this role will be measured not simply by posting consistency, but by audience growth, engagement, share of voice, brand perception, and ultimately the quality of relationships and opportunities generated through social channels.

This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, CA. Candidates should be located in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to work from the office at least two days per week.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute Side's overall social media strategy across Instagram most importantly, syndication across others as well including TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.

  • Own the strategy, creation, editing, publishing, and performance analysis of short-form and long-form content.

  • Build and manage the executive social presence of Side's leadership team.

  • Identify industry trends, news, market shifts, and cultural moments that create opportunities for Side to participate in relevant conversations.

  • Create compelling content that positions Side as a thought leader and category leader within residential real estate.

  • Develop original content concepts, recurring series, campaigns, and storytelling formats that differentiate Side from competitors.

  • Capture and produce content from company events, partner events, conferences, leadership meetings, customer visits, and offsites.

  • Partner closely with executives, marketing leadership, recruiting, product, and partner success teams to identify content opportunities.

  • Establish performance goals and regularly report on growth, engagement, audience quality, reach, and business impact.

  • Continuously test new content formats, distribution strategies, and platform-specific tactics.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of social media algorithms, creator trends, platform updates, and audience behavior.

  • Travel frequently throughout the bay area and often times beyond to capture content and support executive visibility opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated success building, growing, or managing a meaningful social media audience for a company, executive, creator, entrepreneur, or personal brand specifically on Instagram

  • Strong portfolio of content that demonstrates storytelling ability, creativity, and measurable results.

  • Deep understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging social platforms.

  • Exceptional content creation skills, including filming, editing, copywriting, storytelling, and content packaging.

  • Strong understanding of audience growth strategies, engagement mechanics, and social media analytics.

  • Experience working directly with founders, executives, entrepreneurs, or thought leaders is strongly preferred.

  • Ability to independently generate ideas, execute quickly, and maintain high standards with minimal oversight.

  • Strong business judgment and ability to translate company priorities into compelling narratives.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and high expectations.

  • Experience in real estate, technology, media, creator economy, or high-growth startups is preferred but not required.
