Position Description
The Media Associate has a vital role within our media activation teams, as their tasks lay the foundation for the media buying process. They provide administrative support in the stewardship of media buys across multiple media accounts through preliminary research on the availability of airtime/space in different media (TV, Radio, Digital, Out of Home), negotiation with networks and preparation of various documents related to media buying and consumption for different clients.
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Support media buyers across all accounts
  • Steward and maintain media buys on assigned accounts.
  • Request and track schedules, logs, post data, and other materials from networks.
  • Input schedules into buying systems and generate post-buy analysis reports.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely processing of client and vendor invoices.
  • Maintain buy records, contracts, and post-buy documentation.
  • Identify and recommend solutions to day-to-day stewardship issues.
  • Stay current on media industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Communicate buy maintenance needs to vendors and ensure timely follow-through.
  • Prepare and deliver reports to clients within set deadlines.

Knowledge & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree required; Marketing, Advertising, or Communications focus preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with media buying systems and tools is a plus.
  • 1 - 2 years of office experience preferred.
